PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection decision mechanism whose manufacturing cost is low. PSOLUTION: In this decision mechanism, a power source voltage Vcc is dropped with a resistor R1 and is applied to a terminal k in that dropped state, when a control base plate 31a and a unit U are connected. A control unit 31 decides that the unit U is connected to the control plate 31a, when the dropped voltage is applied to the terminal k. The control unit 31 decides that the unit U is not connected to the control plate 31a, when the dropped voltage is not applied to the terminal k. Since this decision mechanism performs connection decision using a conventional power cable Cv, signal cable Ck, and terminal k, the mechanism makes a connection decision mechanism whose manufacturing cost is low.
