PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly accuracy in the case of assembling a lens in a holding frame.;SOLUTION: The receiving part 140 of a tool 131 is inserted from the aperture 65f of an upper holding frame 65 in a state where a 3rd group lens 68 is held in the receiving part 140. A laser beam is radiated from a light source 132 and made to pass through an aperture 142b provided on the tool 131. The laser beam which reaches a mirror 145 is reflected by the mirror 145 or passes through an aperture 144 provided on the mirror 145 so as to be made incident on the prism 71. The laser beam made incident on the prism 71 is reflected by a light emitting surface 71c and passes through the apertures 144 and 142b as return light. The reflected light reflected by the mirror 145 and the return light from the prism 71 are made to form an image on a CCD image sensor 134. When two spot images are not aligned, a tool 152 is moved so that the spot images by the return light from the prism 71 may be aligned with the spot image by the reflected light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
