PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a high crystallinity alkaline earth metal aluminophosphate (MAPO-5) can be efficiently synthesized in high purity.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the alkaline earth metal aluminophosphate having an AFI structure comprises keeping a dry gel comprising a mixture of (i) an alkaline earth metal source, (ii) an aluminum source, and (iii) a phosphorous source in a powdery state at a temperature of 90-200°C in the presence of steam and triethylamine vapor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
