PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stress-induced illuminant having a shape capable of emitting high-luminance fluorescence and a composition and a structure each containing the illuminant and to provide a method for producing the stress-induced illuminant having an anisotropic aspect ratio.;SOLUTION: The stress-induced illuminant particles are composed of an aluminate and/or a silicate and has an anisotropic aspect ratio. The aspect ratio of the stress-induced illuminant particles is controlled by mixing raw materials with an aqueous medium and adding ammonia water thereto to change pH value.
