PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit of a transmitting and receiving system whose electric power consumption is reduced. PSOLUTION: There is provided the interface circuit of the transmitting and receiving system for transmitting data from a transmitting LSI (10) to a receiving LSI (20) via a transmission line T1. The transmitting LSI (10) includes a comparison circuit (15) for detecting a change in data output. When no change in the data output that are output from the transmitting LSI (10) is detected through a result informed by the comparison circuit (15), a receiving circuit connects a resistor (22) to the transmission line. The resistor (22) has a lager resistive value than that of a resistor (21) used for matching of a characteristic impedance of the transmission line. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
