PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive quality control system for a manufacturing line which realizes measurement of the operation condition of manufacturing equipment thereby facilitating detection of a step where defect occurs in a product and facilitating pursuit of failure of equipment causing the defect and which enables Ethernet (R) to be used. PSOLUTION: The quality control system for the manufacturing line is provided with: a plurality pieces of manufacturing equipment 2; sensors 3 provided for the manufacturing equipment, respectively and measuring the operation condition of the manufacturing equipment 2; a programmable logic controller 4 connected to each sensor 3 and capturing operation condition data; data collection means 5 converting the operation condition data captured to each programmable controller 4 into digital data and storing the digital data; and a data collecting server 7 connected, through the Ethernet (R) 6, to each of the data collection means 5, and receiving thinned prescribed operation condition data from each of the data collection means 5.
