PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a telomere domain in a chromosome DNA and to prolong a life which each organism species essentially has, by transducing a protein into a cell and polymerizing a deoxy ribonucleotide with making the end part of a chromosome DNA as a synthesis starting point. ;SOLUTION: This method for extending the telomere domain in a chromosome DNA comprises transducing an expression vector into which a protein structural gene to be a gene coding a protein of a DNA polymerase of a bacterium belonging to the genus Thermococcus or Thermus, a gene of a promoter domain and a gene of a transcription termination are inserted, respectively into a cell. A promoter inducing substance such as steroid hormone is administered and a promoter domain is activated. Consequently, a deoxy ribonucleotide is polymerized in the presence of the expressed protein with making the end part of the chromosome DNA as a synthesis starting point to prolong the telomere domain in the chromosome DNA transcription termination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
