Aqueous suspension formulation for direct spraying in flooded sewage paddy fields

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous suspension formulation for direct spraying on a paddy field under flooding which is an aqueous suspension including a herbicidally active component, free from coagulation of the dispersoid even when frozen in storing, capable of easily dropping to the paddy field from a container without diluting with water and capable of carrying out a pretreatment for transplantation of a rice plant, a simultaneous treatment with transplantation of the rice plant or a treatment after the transplantation of the rice plant. SOLUTION: This aqueous suspension formulation for direct spraying on a paddy field under flooding comprises a herbicidally active component having solubility to water =100 ppm at 20 deg.C and a modified polyvinyl alcohol and water.
