PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curling device which can prevent the occurrence of wrinkles during the conveyance of a sheet material and can curl the sheet material to the maximum extent and an image forming device which has good sheet material conveyance performance by using it. ;SOLUTION: This curling device is constituted in such a manner that a first roller 103a having an elastic part 103d and a second roller 103b which is harder than the first roller 103a come into pressure-contact mutually and rotate to convey a sheet material and a pair of curling rollers 103 which can curl the sheet material in the peripheral direction of the second roller 103b are provided. In this case, the length of the elastic part 103d of the first roller 103a is smaller than the maximum conveyance width W of the sheet material to be conveyed to reduce a constraint region by the pair of curling rollers 103 of the sheet material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
