PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for heater capable of preventing heating in an empty state and having easily exchangeable temperature fuses. ;SOLUTION: In a heater unit 60, the heater main body 62 housing a heating element inside is projectingly provided from a bracket 66. A cylindrical tube 74, to which a fuse unit 83 is fitted, is attached to the bracket 66 and the top end of the cylindrical tube 74 is fixed to the casing 64 of the heater main body 62. Further, in the bracket 66, an opening 76 communicated with the inside of the tube 74 is formed and the fuse tube 84 of the fuse unit 83 charged with a thermal fuse is inserted into the cylindrical tube from the opening, so that the thermal fuse can be simply installed in a position specified with respect to the heater main body 62. Moreover, when the thermal fuse fuses, only the fuse tube 84 can be exchanged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
