PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic performance evaluation method for building capable of easily and rapidly calculating an aseismatic performance quantitatively by a computer with Is values and PML values, immediately coping with the needs of users, and contributing to a cost reduction, and a modification cost evaluation method based on the aseismatic performance evaluation values by the method.;SOLUTION: Building environment data comprising information on the structure of an evaluated building, information on map, and information on ground is inputted into the computer. The computer refers to the basic data of a database based on the building environment data, calculates the current aseismatic performance evaluation values (Is values and PML values) of the evaluated building, and outputs the current aseismatic performance evaluation values (Is values and PML values) calculated by the computer to an output display means such as a monitor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
