PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating agent capable of making its abrasion resistance compatible with its nontackiness by a simple coating process, and useful in highly durable sliding members, by compounding a fluororesin, heat-resistant resin and iron oxide powder, etc. ;SOLUTION: First, 100 pts.wt. of a fluororesin (e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene resin) is compounded with 100-150 pts.wt. of a heat-resistant resin (e.g. polyamide-imide resin) and 5-20 pts.wt. of iron oxide powder (e.g. ferrous oxide) to form a homogeneous composition, which, in turn, is diluted with a mixed solvent composed of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP), dimethylformamide(DMF), xylene and ethyl acetate so as to be about 23wt.% in solid content, thus obtaining the objective coating agent to be used in sliding members because of having advantages as mentioned above.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
