PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open/close a sliding door with small moving range of a person to open/close the sliding door by pivotaly supporting a rotary gear in the middle of a center door in the width direction, engaging a straight gear fitted to each side door with the rotary gear with equal intervals, and interlocking the side door of the movement twice that of the center door. ;SOLUTION: A slide door 1 comprises narrow side door 6a, 6b, and a wide center door 7. A rotary gear 10 is pivotally supported in the middle of the center doors 7 in the width direction, and straight gears 11a, 11b are fitted to the side doors 6a, 6b. The straight gears 11a, 11b are engaged with the rotary gear with equal intervals to move the side doors 6a, 6b with the movement twice that of the center door 7. When the side door 7a is opened from the wall surface by the distance L from the condition where three combined slide doors are closed, the center door 7 is moved by the distance L/2 in an interlocking manner with the movement of the side door 7a by a speed-doubling mechanism comprising the rotary gear 10 and the straight gears 11a, 11b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
