PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HTML display device capable of reducing the connection waiting time with a site in which HTML data are present on a network and the communicating cost. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a user interface for designating an object (identification data) such as a link text with an underline for letting a user know the existence of link information in an HTML data. When the object is designate by this user interface, information for indicating the place of the existence of the HTML data themselves including the object is obtained by a first information obtaining means 6, and the link information of the object is obtained by a second information obtaining means 7. The information is stored in a table 8, and the HTML data and the HTML data indicated by the link information corresponding to this are obtained according to the content by a data obtaining means 9, and preserved in a data preserving means 16.
