PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing biomass such as cut trees and plants by which biomass such as cut trees and plants is recovered as fertilizer and compost without damaging the landscape instead of conventionally treating the biomass as waste and a simple manufacturing method of compost, which are invented in line with the importance of biomass utilization stated in "Biomass Nippon Strategy" announced in 2002 by the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.;SOLUTION: The method of processing biomass such as cut trees and plants and the simple manufacturing method of compost are characterized by conically accumulating biomass 1 such as cut trees and plants around the base of a tree 2 and covering with a protecting cover 3 and the like having a color scheme and a design without damaging the landscape to form a conical shape having a center point located at the trunk of the tree 2 and fix the biomass on the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
