PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the man-hours for producing a standard length pipe and improve the environment of cutting work while eliminating trimming by precisely performing the running cut of the pipe to a standard length after its continuous manufacture. ;SOLUTION: A device 6 for running cut to a standard length is directly coupled with a continuous manufacturing facility for thin-walled pipes and is composed of a movable table 9 advancing to and retreating from a continuous pipe (p) fed from the continuous manufacturing facility, a pipe cutter 19 fitted with a rotary blade advancing and retreating on the movable table 9 and drawn off from an inserted into the continuous pipe (p), a ring-shaped stationary die 10 fixed to the table 9 and mating with the rotary blade at the time of cutting a pipe, a clamp which is mounted on the pipe cutter 19 and presses the continuous pipe (p) to the die 10 from the inside at the time of cutting a pipe, another clamp which is installed on the table 9 and fixes the standard length pipe from outside from the time of cutting a pipe to immediately before taking-out the standard length pipe, and a sized pipe takeout/delivery device 53 which is mounted on the movable table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
