PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sprayed layer formed of the sufficient quantity of spray agent for planting. ;SOLUTION: In this protective planting structure for a rock-bed slope 1, a grated frame fence 5 comprising an inclined front wall part 6 made of a reinforced grating, and a horizontal bottom wall part 7 is installed in front of the rock-bed slope 1. Banking 9 is filled between the grated frame fence 5 and the rock-bed slope 1. Spray agent 16a with the mixture of artificial soil, seeds, and the like is sprayed from the front face of the grated frame fence 5 to form a sprayed layer 16.
