PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce an electric clock signal whose noise components are small, and to prevent the deterioration of a reception signal in gating even by the rotation fluctuation of the oscillation plane of an electric field vectors of an optical pulse signal.;SOLUTION: This optical time-division multiplex communication equipment is constituted of an optical MUX part 10 and an optical DEMUX part 20. The optical MUX part is provided with a first polarization demultiplexer 12 for separating a first optical pulse column 13b and a second optical pulse column(optical clock signal) 13a into two light beam fluxes, a coding part 14 for inputting the first optical pulse column, and for generating an optical pulse signal and a polarization multiplexer 16 for multiplexing an optical pulse signal 15 outputted from the coding part and the optical clock signal. On the other hand, the optical DEMUX part is provided with a second polarization demultiplexer 24 for separating a light beam flux 19 transmitted through an optical fiber 18 after the optical pulse signal and the optical clock signal are multiplexed into two light beam fluxes, that is, an optical pulse signal 25b and an optical clock signal 25a whose polarizing directions are mutually orthogonal and a gating part 28 for gating the separated optical pulse signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
