A driver's cab (10) of a vehicle having optimized air flow characteristics and a method for optimizing the aerodynamics of a driver's cab (10) of a motor vehicle are proposed, it being possible by means of air flow tests to determine a number of design parameters (A-H) with regard to their aerodynamic influence, the parameters (A-H) within a predefined range of variation being optimized jointly and as a function of one another with a view to optimum overall air flow characteristics of the external shape of the driver's cab (10).
