The invention relates to the tobacco industry, in particular to devices for tobacco leaf fixation and processes for tobacco leaf preparation for drying.The claimed device for tobacco leaf fixation contains two bars placed in parallel and the third - placed below the first two. The bars are fixed with the help of bar holders, made in the form of plates, in the middle part of which there are made three holes. Two holes, wherein there are rigidly fixed the bar holders, are made round and placed on the same level, and the third - oval, the major axis of which coincides with the axis of symmetry of the first two, wherein there is freely placed the third bar, fixed about one of the other two with the help of fixing elements. The bar holders placed onto the bars ends are made bent in the upper part, and the bar holders, placed between them, are equipped in the upper part with hooks.The process for tobacco leaf preparation for drying includes placement thereof into the device for tobacco leaf fixation, fixation of the leaves and subsequent setting of the device with the fixed leaves into the drying installation. At the same time, the tobacco leaves are placed into the device for leaf fixation by alternate X-shaped fixation of their petioles between two bars placed in parallel and the third bar of the device.
