METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING ULTRASONICALLY STATE OF OSTIUM OF UTERUS IN PREGNANCY

The method for diagnosing ultrasonically the state of the ostium of uterus in the pregnancy comprises measuring the ultrasonic parameters of the cervix uteri. The following parameters are assessed: the functional length of the cervical canal, the diameter of the ostium opening, the depth of the ostium opening, the shape of the ostium, the cervical index, and the funneling index in %. The ultrasonic assessment is performed prior to and after the test applying transfundal pressure followed by the interpretation of the parameters obtained.
