METHOD FOR UNILATERAL SPINAL ANESTHESIA FOR SURGERY IN LOWER LIMB

The method for the unilateral spinal anesthesia for the surgery in lower limb comprises the infusion therapy and the spinal lumbar puncture performed in the proper lateral position of the patient. The puncture is performed in L3-L4 area with the aid of the puncture needle with 25G side opening. The needle is oriented inside the spinal canal and 0.5% solution of Marcaine is administered as the anesthetic through the axial canal of the needle in the specified volume providing for fixation for 20-30 min.
