The method for modeling the uveal cataract provides for the total irradiation of the experimental animal with the light of high intensity approaching the sunlight by its spectral range. Prior to light irradiation, the animal is sensitized subcutaneously with the albumin-containing antigen in the phosphate buffer followed by the challenge with the antigen administered to the anterior eye chamber.
