A method to control the irrigation of industrial plantations of a grape of the variety Muskat bilyi (White muscat) according to which the water state of a plant is determined by monitoring the approaching dawn values of the water potentials of grape leaves in the course of vegetation period thereof. The water regime of each of the plants at the corresponding vegetation stages of the plants is regulated by means of supporting the preset values of the water potentials of the leaves. At the stage «breaking of buds - flowering» the water regime is maintained within the range of from - 0.1 up to - 0.2 MPa, at the stage «flowering - setting of berries» within the range of from - 0.2 up to -0.3 MPa using a stress up to - 0.45 MPa in intensity, immediately after the fruits-set at the stage «growth of berries - starting of maturing» within the range of from - 0.2 up to - 0.3 MPa, at the stage of «starting of maturing - end of maturing» from - 0.2 MPa, at the beginning of maturing with the following lowering up to - 0.5 MPa till the moment of harvesting.
