The wall elements (2) each consisting of an outer (3) and an inner plate (4) are connected by spacing strips (5) and shaped so that where the corner joint (1) is to be built, they form an oblique angle at the sides (6) where the surface of the wall elements is extended. A corner strip (10) is arranged in the inner corner between outer plates which is connected to both outer plates of the wall elements. Preferably, said strip is connected with the outer plate in such a way that the outer edge (11) of the strip coincides with the inner edge (12) of the oblique facing surface (13) or of the outer plate, so that the corner strip fastened to the wall element of the corner joint serves as end stop for erecting the second wall element, thereby making the assembly of the corner joint easier.
