Using 2a, 3a, 17a-trihydroxy-5a-androstane-6-one as an active for regulating plant growth by decreasing of a plant stress in the form of an application solution prepared by dissolving ingredients ingredient active in an appropriate solvent to appropriate concentration, which is then diluted with water and the application solution obtained is applied to plants.
