A preventive and/or therapeutic agent for urine collection disordersaccompanying lower urinary tract obstruction, characterized by containing anindoline derivative represented by the following general formula (I):[Chemical formula 1] (wherein R represents optionally substituted aliphaticacyl optionally having an unsaturated bond, hydroxyalkyl, aliphaticacyloxyalkyl, lower alkoxy, carboxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, aryl(loweralkoxy)carbonyl, carbamoyl, (mono- or dialkyl)carbonyl or cyano(lower alkyl),optionally halogenated aromatic acyl, furoyl, or pyridylcarbonyl; R1represents cyano or carbamoyl; and R2 represents lower alkyl optionally havinga halogen atom, cyano group, or aryl group), or a pharmacologically acceptablesalt of the derivative. The derivative and salt are usable as a preventiveand/or therapeutic agent for urine collection disorders accompanying lowerurinary tract obstruction.
