An agent for the prevention and/or treatment of urinecollection disorders associated with lower urinary tractobstructive disease, characterized by containing anindoline derivative represented by the following generalformula (I):(see formula I)wherein R represents optionally substituted aliphatic acyloptionally having an unsaturated bond, hydroxyalkyl,aliphatic acyloxyalkyl, lower alkoxy, carboxy, loweralkoxycarbonyl, aryl(lower alkoxy)carbonyl, carbamoyl,(mono- or dialkyl)carbonyl or cyano(lower alkyl),optionally halogenated aromatic acyl, furoyl, orpyridylcarbonyl; R1 represents cyano or carbamoyl; and R2represents lower alkyl optionally having a halogen atom,cyano group, or aryl group, or a pharmaceuticallyacceptable salt of the derivative. The derivative and saltare usable as an agent for the prevention and/or treatmentof urine collection disorders associated with lower urinarytract obstructive disease.
