There are provided a shape measurement method and a shape measurement device capable of observing a deep portion under the epidermis or the like with a high spatial resolution. There is also provided a frequency comb light generation device capable of varying the frequency interval and generating a plenty of frequency combs by a simple configuration and having a stable operation. The frequency comb light generation device includes a laser light source (11), an optical resonator (13), a comb interval adjuster (14), and an emission opening (OUT). The shape measurement device includes an optical interferometer for measuring a distance. The optical resonator (13) has an optical modulator (131), a first mirror (M11), an optical fiber (F13) pulled out from the other end of an optical waveguide of the optical modulator, and a second mirror (M12). The comb interval adjuster (14) is a modulated signal generator for changing a modulated signal. The optical fiber (F13) has a device for compensating the change of the polarization state (Faraday rotation mirror).
