Chimeric immunogenic polypeptides are disclosed. The chimeric immunogenic polypeptides comprise peptide eptitopes derived from different stages in the life cycle of the malarial parasite, and, in particular, the Plasmodium falciparum parasite. In some embodiments, spacer amino acid sequences are inserted between epitopes. The disclosed chimeric immunogenic polypeptides can be used to stimulate an immune response to the P. falciparum parasite in a subject.
