This invention relates to a novel peptide of Ubidine having antibiotic activity, which is identified and isolated from Aspergillus nidulans , and relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the peptide as an effective component . Since the novel peptide of Ubidine has potent antibiotic activity to the anthrax pathogen, it can be used as preparations of a biological pesticide for protecting the crops from biological diseases, such as, anthrax, a food preservative, a cosmetics preservative and as preparations of a drug preservative.
