The aim of said invention is to develop a hoist drive which is small-sized and whose structural design makes it possible to repeatedly use identical components and to remove yet necessary typical electrotechnical components and to increase the service life of the hoist drive. The inventive gearless external rotor small-sized hoist drive is preferably embodied a form of a symmetrical structure. The external rotor (1) consists of a driving tube (2) and angle tubular elements (3) fixed thereto. Said angle tubular elements (3) are embraced by two main bearings (4) which are held by a bearing supporting ring (5), respectively. Each bearing supporting ring (5) is connected to a base (6) of the hoist drive. The stator (7) of the electric motor and the axis (6) thereof are fixedly connected to a bearing cover (9) on one side. Said bearing cover (9) is linked to associated bearing supporting ring (5). The axis (5) of the stator is mounted on an internal end plate (10), which is connected to the angle tubular element (3) associated with the driving tube (2). An external end plate (11) parallel to the internal end plate (10) is fixed to the external surface of the bearing supporting ring (5).
