SAFE FIRST AGENT FOR PERMANENT WAVE AGENT WITH LESS DAMAGE

[PROBLEMS] At present, as reducing agents contained in a first agent for permanent wave agent (hereinafter referred to as a “first agent for perm agent”) as primary agents, ammonium thioglycolate, monoethanolamine thioglycolate, cysteamine and a cysteamine salt are used. The reducing agents have an advantage that they have a strong wave effect, however, they have disadvantages that (1) hydrogen sulfide odor derived from thioglycolic acid and cysteamine is strong; (2) the degree of hair damage is high; and (3) safety to human is low. Cysteines are used to overcome the disadvantages, however a disadvantage of a weak wave effect cannot be avoided. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The invention has been made to provide a first agent for perm agent that has a high wave effect, less hydrogen sulfide odor, low degree of hair damage and high safety, in other words, has the advantages of the thioglycolic acid, cycteamine and cysteine-based first agents for perm agents and provides a first agent for perm agent containing guanylcysteine as an active ingredient.
