PURPOSE: A subscriber line using an external terminal is provided to be constructed by using the external terminal developed by a next communication provider without using optical cables and optical equipment of a pre-set communication provider, thereby reducing cost as improving line quality. CONSTITUTION: A router(220) is connected to an Internet network(210), and transmits a signal to a receiver. An optical equipment(230) transmits the signal received from the router(220) to an external terminal(240) through an optical cable. The external terminal(240) transmits the received signal to many subscriber terminals(251-253) through the optical cable. The external terminal(240) comprises as follows. An optical distributor distributes the received signal. A switching hub simultaneously exchanges the distributed signal to the subscriber terminals(251-253). A media converter converts the signal, and transmits the converted signal to the subscriber terminals(251-253).
