The present invention mammalian embryos and undifferentiated functions maintain Oct-4 gene, which is closely related to stem cells the inhibition of the expression of the nucleotide sequence to be that as RNA, the nucleotide sequence is SEQ ID No.1-Sense RNA (5'-GAA CAU GUG UAA GCU GCG GTT-3 ') and SEQ ID No.2-Antisense RNA ( 5'-CCG CAG CUU ACA CAU GUU CTT-3 ') as follows. ; These two single-stranded RNA of the RNA forms a stable double helix at a physiologically appropriate reaction conditions. To date, Oct-4 gene function in the maintenance of undifferentiated embryonic stem cells and the generation and differentiation of the early embryo is known as a very important gene. Oct-4- double-stranded RNA of the present invention without affecting the expression of other genes in the early embryo and stem cells of mammals, including mice, specific to Oct-4 step after transferring the protein synthesis of the gene (post can be suppressed in -transcriptional level). Which may be used for the efficient induction of differentiation and control the generation and differentiation embryonic stem cells or germ stem cells of mammalian embryos.
