FIELD: agriculture, in particular, procedure of forecasting yield of sugar (commercial) beet.;SUBSTANCE: method involves determining dose of mineral fertilizers introduced and amount of precipitations for June; determining yield of sugar (commercial) beet to be forecast from mathematical dependence: Y=11.7+0.027N+0.222 Pj-0.198 PPj, R=0.8, where Y is yield of sugar (commercial) beet, t/hectare; N is dose of nitrogenous fertilizers of from 69 to 239 kg/hectare of effective substance; Pj is amounts of precipitations for June of from 24.2 to 119 mm; P is ratio of nitrogenous fertilizer dose to total of phosphorous and potash fertilizers dose of from 0.52 to 1.03; R is coefficient of multiple correlation.;EFFECT: reduced labor intensity and increased precision in forecasting yield of sugar (commercial) beet.;1 tbl, 1 ex
