FIELD: medicine, surgery.;SUBSTANCE: one should carry out thoracotomy, mobilize main bronchus' stump followed by its reresecting, cut a P-shaped pleuropericardial flap its foundation faced cranially. This flap should be applied with its pleural side towards the bronchus. Moreover, it should be fixed with pericardo-pleuro-broncho-broncho-pleuro-pericardial sutures.
