FIELD: food processing industry, in particular production of bioactive food supplements for iodine deficiency prophylaxis.;SUBSTANCE: claimed food supplement contains mixture of iodine-enriched crushed plant fruits and low methoxylated pectin. Plant fruits are enriched with iodine by agrochemical methods wherein iodine from complex mineral fertilizers is converted to physiologically active organically bonded form in plant fruits. Iodine-enriched crushed plant fruits and low methoxylated pectin are mixed in ratio of (10-25):1.
