FIELD: alcohol industry; production of ethanol.;SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of alcohol industry, in particular, to production of ethanol. The installation for preparation of the grain raw material for fermentation for production of ethanol contains the mounted in the technological succession of the separator for separation of foreign impurities, the grinder, the mixer-precooker equipped with the recirculation circuit, the mixed mass treatment unit, the sterilizer with the contact head installed on its inlet, the saccharifier, the vacuum-chamber for refrigeration of the saccharificated pulp. The installation is supplied with the premixer, the tank for preparation of the fluidifying enzymatic preparations which is connected with the premixer and the mixer-precooker through the switching unit. The mixed mass treatment unit is supplied with the contact head installed on its inlet and is composed of the two linked among themselves and preheated with open steam devices for the stage by stage treatment of the mixer mass at the various temperature modes. The sterilizer is made in the form of the column and the outlet of its contact head may be arranged on the level of 0.2-0.4 of the column height or in its bottom.
