FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with phenotypical studying in the course of which one should detect the types of skin papillary picture in epigastric area of anterior abdominal wall: a rectangular type, a rhomboid type, a triangular type and an undefined type being characterized by the absence of pronounced skin folds and grooves. Moreover, the above-mentioned undefined type of skin papillary picture is considered to be the illustration of connective tissue dysplasia syndrome in children.
