The writing implement has an ink reservoir and an ink support feeding the ink to the writing tip. It has a capillary flow regulator with a ventilation passage connected to the ink reservoir (22). A first non-capillary intermediate chamber (28) and the semi-permeable joint (30) are connected by a second intermediate non-capillary chamber (33) which is itself connected by a capillary passage to the ink reservoir.
