The method involves edge-laterally connecting upper and lower metallic face sheets with one another and an intermediate lather metal core. The metallic face sheets are deformed with a molding tool. The tool is adjusted to required size and the heating of lather metal sandwich formed parts is discontinued at the end of a foaming procedure. The tool is brought for deformation of the parts. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an application of a method of manufacturing a lather metal sandwich formed part (B) a molding tool with an integrated heater for implementing a method of manufacturing a lather metal sandwich formed part.
