Robot programming method for robot of data processing system involves functional unit whereby virtual work area is generated and course of motion for robot in start position and end position is specified
The method involves a functional unit (30) whereby a virtual work area is generated from the pattern of real work area of robot (70). The start position of the robot in the virtual work area is specified. The end position of the robot with that functional unit is selected. The course of motion for the robot depending on the start position and on the required end position is specified. An independent claim is also included for the system for generation of robot programming for a robot.
