Platform chip comprises a conductor structure exposed to external influences, where the conductor structure comprises an electrically conductive oxide and/or comprises components with durable stable resistance characteristics at temperatures above 500[deg]C. Independent claims are also included for: (1) use of a sensor for long-term service at temperatures of 600-1000[deg]C, where the sensor is heated to 600-1000[deg]C by a heating device or is used to control adjustment of a burner or to control exhaust gas recirculation in an internal combustion engine; (2) producing a platform chip or sensor by depositing a thin layer by means of a suspension of noble metal particles smaller than 50 nm.
