The cultivator has a chassis (2) having combing rollers (5) arranged parallel to the cultivating rollers (4). The combing rollers and cultivating rollers respectively have combing sections and cutter disks that can be adjusted to touch the lawn (1) for cultivation. The combing rollers rotate twice as fast as the cultivating rollers over the lawn. The cutter disks are arranged forming a single cutter group for mowing the lawn. The cutter disks are arranged with gaps, and project without affecting the cultivating rollers. An engine drives the cultivating rollers. The chassis is also provided with wheels (3).
