The gear has a gear wheel body for transmitting driving torque of an intermediate gear wheel to an output shaft (8). The body is in form of a one-piece gear wheel roller with a circular reference circle for receiving the torque, where the roller is rigidly connected with the shaft. The distance of the shaft to an intermediate shaft corresponds to the sum of the circle radius of the roller and the largest circle radius of the wheel. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle with a step-less gear.
