Use of phosphatidyl choline and/or other lipids for preparing medicaments for treating inflammatory small and/or large intestine diseases e.g. colitis ulcerosa, and for the prophylaxis of colon cancer

Use of phosphatidyl choline and/or other lipids (A) for preparing medicaments with inflammation inhibiting activity in small intestine and/or large intestine for rectal or oral administration with extended release of active substance in lower ileum and/or colon for treating inflammatory small and/or large intestine diseases. ACTIVITY : Antiinflammatory; Cytostatic; Gastrointestinal-Gen.; Antiulcer. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Actin polymerization inhibitor. The ability of (A) to inhibit actin polymerization was tested in membrane-organelle (isolated membrane) using biological assays. The results showed that (A) significantly inhibited the actin polymerization in phagosomal membrane.
