The rail has a hollow chamber (2), which extends as a central profile unit in a vertical direction and includes a groove-shaped opening (8). The opening is provided below a horizontal partition of the chamber. A carrier (3) of an engaging unit of a pushing luggage trolley passes via the opening, where the carrier includes a roller provided at an end of the carrier. A closed hollow chamber (10) is attached at an upper side of the hollow chamber (2).
