The floor connecting unit has a U-shaped cross-section with two side pieces (12), where one of the side pieces points outwards and is provided with a projection (16) running over the entire extension of the floor connecting unit. A rod (14) is connected to the side piece, and overlies on a floor (80) in an integrated condition. The projection is formed in such a manner that a groove-shaped hollow chamber (20) is formed between the floor and a floor connecting unit (10), where the hollow chamber is accessible from outside. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a wall at a floor.
