The holder (1) has two fastening arms (8,9) for fastening of the holder which is a cast part, to the crash box or the bearing structure. A clearance (26) is provided between the fastening arm and the holder into which the crash box can deform. The holder has a v-shaped body (3) with a narrow end (4) and a broad end (5) from which the fastening arms originate. An independent claim is also included for the front region of the motor vehicle with the bearing structure.
